Description
The STCW Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA) course provides essential knowledge and understanding for seafarers without designated security duties. Approved by the MCA, it is required for crew working on vessels subject to the ISPS Code.
The course covers maritime security threats, awareness, and individual responsibilities onboard. Participants learn to recognise risks such as unauthorised access or suspicious behaviour, understand reporting procedures, and contribute to maintaining a safe and secure ship environment through effective communication and teamwork.
