Description

This course provides essential training in the safe and effective use of Marine VHF Radio equipment and language, with particular emphasis on distress, urgency, and safety communications at sea.  

Participants will gain a clear understanding of radio regulations, correct operating procedures, standard marine radio language, and the phonetic alphabet, as well as how to communicate effectively with other vessels and shore stations.
